We are seeking a skilled Slipcover Cutter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting fabric and materials to precise measurements and patterns for slipcovers. Attention to detail and proficiency in using cutting tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut various types of fabric for slipcovers with precision.
• Ensure all fabric is free from defects before proceeding.
• Coordinate with the design team to confirm fabric requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the cutting area.
• Regularly check and calibrate cutting machines.
• Engage with the production team to streamline cutting processes.
• Provide feedback for fabric ordering based on usage trends.
• Assist in training new team members on cutting techniques.
• Document fabric usage and cutting processes for inventory management.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferable certification in upholstery or textile management

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the textile or upholstery industry.
