Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator in Cape Town to oversee and manage clinical trials. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of clinical research methodologies and regulatory guidelines. As a key member of our research team, you will coordinate all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring compliance and effective collaboration with research staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinic workflow and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Implement trial protocols while ensuring participant safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular data reviews to identify discrepancies.
• Assist in budget management and resource allocation for studies.
• Serve as the primary contact for study sponsors and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and review study reports and presentations.
• Train new employees on clinical trial procedures and regulations.
• Evaluate and implement best practices in clinical research.
• Participate in investigator meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Sciences
• Advanced degree in Clinical Research is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a clinical research setting
