Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage and oversee clinical trials in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical research protocols and be adept at coordinating between various stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of clinical trial implementation.
  • Ensure that all trial documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in developing study timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the study team to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Monitor participant safety and well-being throughout the trial duration.
  • Collaborate with laboratories and other service providers.
  • Implement and manage trial amendments as necessary.
  • Provide guidance on ethical considerations in clinical research.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and inspections.
  • Stay updated on new developments in clinical research methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Clinical Research preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical research setting
