Job Description

We are on the hunt for a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll collaborate with UX researchers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design trends, an eye for aesthetics, and a strong grasp of design tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements.
• Ensure that the design processes follow Agile and lean methodologies.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.
• Utilize analytics to guide design decisions and improve user engagement.
• Create customer journey maps to inform design strategy and decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Adobe XD

• Creative Thinking
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with motion design: Experience in creating motion graphics for UI interactions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Understanding of iterative design processes through Agile frameworks.
