Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the supply chain processes from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at all stages.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize technology and software to streamline logistics processes.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior logistics staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
• Evaluate logistics performance metrics and implement improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in logistics or supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Management Software
• Inventory Control

• Adaptability
• Negotiation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual proficiency: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience with ERP systems: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software to enhance logistics management.
