Public Health Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to lead community health initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, disease prevention, and health education, and will work with local communities to promote health awareness and implement health programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate health education workshops and programs.
• Network with stakeholders within the healthcare system.
• Identify trends in public health data and prepare actionable insights.
• Assist in developing grant applications for funding health projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Community Health is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in public health
