Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through to production.
• Analyze data from tests and simulations to inform design decisions.
• Implement best practices in systems engineering and project management.
• Build prototypes and models for experimental testing.
• Advise on material selection and sustainability considerations in design.
• Collaborate with external vendors for component sourcing.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated project delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in aerospace projects or engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Aerospace Systems Engineering
• Software Programming (C++, Python)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with additive manufacturing: Hands-on experience in 3D printing technologies for aerospace applications.
