We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability across our systems. You will work closely with software development and IT teams to streamline operations, automate processes, and deploy robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve the DevOps process.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
• Develop fallback and recovery strategies for critical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in real-time.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
• Engage in performance tuning and system optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Relevant certifications are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in DevOps or related fields

• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
