Job Description

We're on the lookout for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning, executing, and managing events of various scales. This role requires excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate logistics for events, including transportation and setup.
  • Assist in marketing and promoting events to attract attendees.
  • Engage with clients to create memorable and impactful experiences.
  • Keep an organized database of all event-related documentation.
  • Attend events to oversee their smooth execution and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop detailed project plans for each event.
  • Create event materials, such as programs and signage.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Event Management is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant event planning experience
