We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance and repair procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Ensure the effective operation of electrical systems and machinery.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment.
Coordinate and train junior engineers and technicians.
Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes.
Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services.
Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
Review and update technical documentation and manuals.
Participate in project planning and execution related to electrical systems.
Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.
Report on maintenance performance metrics and implement action plans.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Higher qualification in engineering is a plus
Experience
5+ years in maintenance engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing.
