Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance and repair procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective operation of electrical systems and machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment.
• Coordinate and train junior engineers and technicians.
• Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services.
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Review and update technical documentation and manuals.
• Participate in project planning and execution related to electrical systems.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.
• Report on maintenance performance metrics and implement action plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Higher qualification in engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in maintenance engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing.
