We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll operations. As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while adhering to South African regulations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and leave entitlements.
Coordinate with external vendors for payroll-related services.
Conduct regular reconciliations of payroll accounts.
Assist with the preparation of year-end tax documents.
Provide training to HR staff on payroll procedures and software.
Continuously improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional payroll certification is a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in payroll management
