Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll operations. As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while adhering to South African regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and leave entitlements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for payroll-related services.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of payroll accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end tax documents.
  • Provide training to HR staff on payroll procedures and software.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional payroll certification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management
