Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our legal team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will assist attorneys with case preparation, conduct legal research, and manage case files efficiently. A strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings and motions.
  • Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery requests and responses.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients and attorneys.
  • Monitor case files and ensure all relevant information is updated.
  • Create and maintain a repository of relevant legal resources.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues and case developments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of client information.
  • Stay updated on legal procedures and changes in law.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Law is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a legal environment
