Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you'll be focusing on assessing and treating patients to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement effective rehabilitation programs tailored to individual client needs.
• Assist clients in overcoming barriers to participation in daily activities.
• Provide guidance and support to clients and their families in understanding the therapeutic process.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote occupational therapy services.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate the public about occupational therapy.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Additional certifications in specialised therapy areas are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred
