Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have expertise in tax legislation, compliance, and planning, empowering clients to navigate the complexities of the tax landscape successfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and advisory projects for a diverse client base.
• Perform tax research and keep abreast of industry trends.
• Identify risks and opportunities in clients' tax scenarios.
• Prepare and present tax-related training sessions for staff and clients.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and external advisors.
• Support the development of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in the overall strategy of tax planning for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours degree in Taxation would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in tax consultancy

Technical Skills

• Regulatory Knowledge
• Tax Software Proficiency

• Problem-Solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Professional Tax Advisor (PTA)
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
