Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to regulations. You will play a key role in minimizing compliance risks while enhancing the operational integrity of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain compliance manuals and guidance documents.
• Perform data analysis to identify compliance trends and issues.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on compliance practices.
• Act as the point of contact for all compliance inquiries.
• Support the Compliance Manager in strategic compliance planning.
• Facilitate compliance workshops and seminars.
• Monitor the effectiveness of compliance training and adjust as necessary.

Advantageous

• Experience with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations: Knowledge of AML regulations and experience applying them in a business context.
• Proficiency in compliance data analytics: Strong ability to analyze compliance data for potential risk areas.
