Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for animal welfare, with experience in surgical and medical treatments for a variety of species. You will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating animals, providing excellent customer service to pet owners, and collaborating with other veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and treatments for a range of conditions.
  • Supervise veterinary technicians in patient care.
  • Educate clients on pet behaviour and health management.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic policies.
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the clinic.
  • Conduct research and keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Promote a positive team environment and culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Specialization in Surgery or Medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice
