Auditor

Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Auditor to enhance our finance department in Johannesburg. This position involves assessing risks, conducting audits, and preparing reports. Candidates must have a strong background in finance and be adept at working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial audits from planning through completion.
• Evaluate risk management practices and compliance frameworks.
• Present audit results and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
• Mentor junior staff during the audit process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline
• Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience, preferably in corporate finance

Certifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
• Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in Power BI: Experience in using Power BI for visualization and reporting.
