Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Logging Equipment Operator to join our professional team. Your primary responsibility will be to operate various logging machinery efficiently and safely to facilitate smooth forestry operations.

Responsibilities

  • Skillfully manage and operate various heavy logging equipment.
  • Proactively conduct equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations while on-site.
  • Collaborate with forestry teams for efficient log loading and unloading.
  • Ensure accurate logging of equipment and operation records.
  • Assist in developing strategies for improved safety and efficiency.
  • Engage in continuous training on equipment and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
  • Forecast and communicate equipment needs for upcoming projects.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation preferred
Experience
  • Experience in the forestry industry is an advantage.
