Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Pietermaritzburg. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and advising pet owners on health management. A passion for animal care and the ability to connect with pet owners is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Prescribe medication and treatment as needed.
• Manage emergency care cases when required.
• Provide customer service in a compassionate manner.
• Communicate with clients about their pet's treatment options.
• Lead and supervise junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Additional certifications in animal care are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in a veterinary environment
