We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Pietermaritzburg. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and advising pet owners on health management. A passion for animal care and the ability to connect with pet owners is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups and vaccinations for animals.
• Develop treatment plans for sick pets.
• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Surgically treat fractures and other major conditions.
• Advise clients on best practices for pet care.
• Work as part of a team to ensure effective clinic operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Additional certifications in animal care are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in a veterinary environment
