Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Durban. This role involves managing logistics, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Successful candidates will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logistics strategies to optimize freight efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.
• Evaluate current supply chain processes and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and transporters.
• Monitor delivery schedules and adjust logistics as needed to meet changing demand.
• Provide training and support to junior team members regarding supply chain management best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field
• Advanced certifications in logistics are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in relevant supply chain roles with strong performance metrics

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

• Experience with Quality Management Systems: Background in quality control processes would be advantageous.
