We are searching for a diligent Carbon Furnace Operator Helper to assist in the operations of our carbon furnace. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and contribute to a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Carbon Furnace Operator in loading and unloading materials.
• Conduct regular checks on machinery to ensure functionality.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.
• Help with inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
• Stay updated on operational procedures and protocols.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification in manufacturing or engineering is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Basic Electrical Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
