Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to high quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations at every phase of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize construction processes.
  • Supervise the work and performance of team members.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are available and in good condition.
  • Prepare and manage contracts with subcontractors.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Certifications in Project Management are preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within the construction industry
