Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Gqeberha. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing and repair of mechanical systems. In this role, you will ensure optimal functionality through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and repairs on production machinery.
• Analyze mechanical failures and implement solutions.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance schedules.
• Work alongside engineers in project planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Document and report mechanical performance data.
• Train junior technicians on best practices and safety.
• Maintain tools and work area in a clean and organized manner.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setup.
