Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Pretoria office, you will work on exciting projects that require a deep understanding of engineering principles. You will design, test, and implement systems that improve our product offerings while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conceptual design through to completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for component sourcing.
• Conduct regular project reviews and present findings to management.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Document all phases of project development for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

• Mechanical Systems Design

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
