Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to help us design and implement innovative structural systems in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the analysis and design of various structures, along with a strong understanding of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize structural analysis software to model buildings and structures.
• Prepare construction documentation including drawings and calculations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Conduct peer reviews of engineering designs.
• Monitor construction sites for safety compliance and quality assurance.
• Stay updated with industry standards and new technologies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and interns.
• Propose improvements for existing processes and methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in structural analysis/design
