Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Administrator to oversee our healthcare operations in Cape Town. You will be responsible for streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective communication between staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the provision of a welcoming and professional patient experience.
  • Support the Director of Operations in strategic planning.
  • Assist in budgeting, payroll, and healthcare contracts management.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
  • Monitor inventory of office and medical supplies.
  • Liaise with government and legal bodies for compliance matters.
  • Review and approve administrative transactions.
  • Enhance digital systems for patient records management.
  • Participate in community outreach programs reinforcing the organization's mission.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • MBA with a focus on Healthcare Management is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
