Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile medication therapies for accuracy.
• Participate in pharmacy audits and quality assurance activities.
• Promote health education and disease prevention methods to patients.
• Implement pharmacy services that enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Medication therapy management
• Pharmaceutical calculations

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• CPR/AED Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with pharmacy management software: Familiarity with software systems for inventory management and dispensing.
• Knowledge of herbal supplements and alternative remedies: Understanding of the use of herbal products alongside conventional medicine.
