Responsibilities

  • Direct the development, evaluation, and implementation of the curriculum across the district.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure safety protocols are followed in all schools.
  • Advocate for the educational needs of the community with government and private agencies.
  • Monitor federal and state education policies and adapt district strategies accordingly.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for education-related issues within the community.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution among faculty, parents, and students as necessary.
  • Promote technology integration in the classroom to enhance student learning.
  • Evaluate and adopt innovative practices that support effective teaching methods.
  • Manage external relationships with education-focused organizations and institutions.
  • Lead initiatives that foster student engagement and participation in educational programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education Management advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior educational role
