Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will design and develop safe and efficient structural solutions for various projects. You will collaborate with architects and project managers to ensure that designs align with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential safety issues.
• Implement sustainable engineering practices in design methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in structural engineering is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
