Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Safety Supervisor in Cape Town to oversee community safety initiatives, manage public safety personnel, and ensure effective communication within the community. This role is vital in maintaining peace and enhancing the safety of our residents through strategic planning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of public safety officers and coordinate daily tasks.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide leadership during incidents.
  • Create communication strategies to inform the public of safety issues.
  • Analyze trends in public safety data and recommend interventions.
  • Organize public safety workshops and events.
  • Review and update operational procedures for safety protocols.
  • Monitor incident reports to ensure timely action is taken.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training and incidents.
  • Advise on resource allocation for public safety initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus
