Job Description

We are seeking skilled Locksmiths and Safe Repairers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and safes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of both electronic and mechanical locking systems and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a variety of locks, including residential and commercial.
• Install and maintain high-security locking systems and access control systems.
• Assist clients by providing consultations on security measures.
• Perform key cutting and duplication services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all operations.
• Document services performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Locksmithing is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in locksmithing or related field

Technical Skills

• Lock installation and repair
• Safe maintenance
• Key cutting and duplication

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Locksmith Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic locking systems: Knowledge of and experience with modern electronic locks and access systems.
• Vehicle locksmithing skills: Ability to work on automotive locks and security systems.
