Job Description

As a Physiotherapist in our facility, you will play an essential role in the recovery journey of our patients. Your responsibilities will include evaluating injuries, providing hands-on therapy, and educating patients on exercises and techniques to promote healing.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for a caseload of patients requiring physiotherapy.
  • Utilize various physiotherapeutic techniques to achieve patient goals.
  • Implement rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct patient education on health maintenance and injury prevention.
  • Review and assess ongoing results of therapeutic interventions.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or students.
  • Ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with families and caregivers in the treatment process.
  • Maintain optimal patient care through regular evaluations.
  • Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy is preferred
  • Registered with the HPCSA
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
