As a key member of our pharmacy, you will assist in medication preparation, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in medication preparation and delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and their uses.
• Assist in customer inquiries regarding prescriptions and health products.
• Ensure the pharmacy is organized and well-stocked.
• Participate in patient health initiatives and community outreach.
• Assist in training new pharmacy staff.
• Perform quality assurance checks on medication dispensation.
• Update patient information in the pharmacy system.
• Manage pharmacy equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Preparation
• Inventory Management

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
