The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing mining operations, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the processes. You should have a solid understanding of mining principles and practices, along with a passion for innovation in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyse geological information to optimize mineral extraction.
• Implement and manage risk assessments for mining operations.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to mitigate ecological impact.
• Evaluate new mining technologies and recommend implementations.
• Prepare project documentation and reports for management.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of mining engineering staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Master's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in the mining sector

Technical Skills

• Mining Software Proficiency
• Regulatory Knowledge

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
• Mine Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
