Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Materials Coordinator to oversee inventory management and facilitate the smooth flow of materials within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and a knack for optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate materials procurement, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Develop and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze material usage trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
  • Train new staff on inventory management systems and practices.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in materials procurement and handling.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize material flow and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between production and procurement departments.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in materials coordination or supply chain roles
