Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to provide expert design and engineering solutions for various structural projects in Johannesburg. You'll be part of a collaborative team, aiming to deliver high-quality, safe structures while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction plans and assist in project management.
• Conduct load analysis and prepare engineering reports.
• Research and recommend innovative materials and construction techniques.
• Document all engineering processes and decisions throughout project life cycles.
• Collaborate with varying project groups to optimize structural performance.
• Continuously monitor construction processes and compliance with plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis
• Construction Management

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
