Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Hotel Manager with a passion for hospitality to oversee our operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead our team to ensure exceptional guest experiences while managing all hotel functions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving hotel profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate hotel services such as housekeeping, front office, and food and beverage.
  • Evaluate and improve operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Strategically plan short and long-term goals for hotel growth.
  • Manage guest relations, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce policies to ensure an excellent guest experience.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives to enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Review and approve contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management
  • Relevant certifications are a plus

  • 5+ years in a hotel or hospitality environment with management responsibilities
