Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Kiln Furniture Caster who is passionate about ceramics. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the essential kiln furniture used in the firing and drying processes. An understanding of mold-making and casting techniques is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain ceramic molds accurately.
• Carry out casting of ceramic products adhering to quality standards.
• Operate and maintain kiln equipment effectively.
• Conduct quality control on finished products to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at the workplace.
• Collaborate with production teams to achieve collective targets.
• Assist with training newcomers on equipment and processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within production.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in mold-making and casting techniques is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in casting kiln furniture and working with ceramics.

Technical Skills

• Mold-making techniques

Advantageous

• Experience using CAD software for mold designs: Proficiency in computer-aided design programs for creating precise mold specifications.
