We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and analysis of structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role involves collaborating with architects and other engineering professionals to create robust structural designs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize software tools for structural modeling and simulation.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in structural engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD and Revit
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
