Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

Dynamic Learning Solutions is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to drive our educational initiatives. In this role, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that meet business needs. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to create content that resonates with diverse audiences and fosters a culture of continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding training for new employees.
• Facilitate soft skills and technical training sessions for all levels of staff.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to gather participant insights.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement through regular training updates.
• Coordinate with HR on performance management and succession planning.
• Promote learning and development initiatives as a key component of corporate culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in corporate training or L&D roles

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Training Needs Analysis

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) Certification
• Certified Learning Professional (CLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of how adults learn and retain information effectively.
• Bilingual Language Skills: Ability to conduct training sessions in Afrikaans and English is a plus.
