Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Healthcare Administrator to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will assist in managing healthcare operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving patient care processes. This role is critical in supporting our healthcare professionals and optimizing administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily administrative operations within the healthcare environment.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and national healthcare regulations.
  • Support the management team in delivering quality healthcare services.
  • Organize and maintain patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and management of facility budgets.
  • Implement workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to optimize patient care.
  • Manage staff resources and organize training as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison for patients and healthcare workers regarding administrative matters.
  • Monitor quality metrics and assist in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Leadership is preferred

  • 4+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
