We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to lead projects in our Bloemfontein operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mining operations, design, and management, committed to safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for new mining projects.
• Design and implement efficient and safe mining methods.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international mining regulations.
• Work on resource estimation and strategic mine planning.
• Monitor mining operations and provide technical support.
• Manage community engagement and stakeholder relationships.
• Facilitate training programs on new technologies and methodologies.
• Maintain documentation of all engineering processes and decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Professional accreditation preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in the mining industry
