Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder to manage import and export operations in our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will liaise with clients, shipping lines, and customs officials to ensure smooth logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and customs officials.
• Manage the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Evaluate and select shipping methods based on cost and service levels.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff in logistics operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for logistics challenges.
