Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough health assessments on animals.
  • Provide surgical and emergency care as needed.
  • Engage with pet owners to ensure understanding of treatment guidelines.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools to aid in the treatment of conditions.
  • Mentor junior veterinarians and support staff.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience
