Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of medications, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients manage their medication therapies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication.
• Evaluate patient medication histories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Engage in community outreach and health education activities.
• Provide support during pharmacy audits and inspections.
• Implement strategies to reduce medication errors.
• Regularly review and update departmental policies and procedures.
• Support the pharmacy's public health initiatives.
• Assist in implementing new pharmacy technologies.
• Monitor and report on pharmacy performance metrics.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience, ideally in a retail pharmacy environment
