Job Description

We are seeking an Event Sales Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives in the Durban area. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with clients, managing event proposals, and ensuring the successful execution of events, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding communication skills and a strong background in event management or sales.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective sales strategies tailored to event management.
• Assist clients in developing event concepts and themes.
• Supervise event staff and provide guidance during events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all event materials and supplies are procured and managed effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in event management or sales with proven results

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
