Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Public Health Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public health principles, community health needs, and program evaluation. As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing health programs that address community needs and improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the health status of communities and identify strategies for improvement.
  • Lead public health campaigns to educate the community on health initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance community health programs.
  • Collect and analyze health data for program planning.
  • Develop educational materials and resources for public health initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and health service providers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in public health with program management experience
