We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Public Health Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public health principles, community health needs, and program evaluation. As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing health programs that address community needs and improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of public health interventions.
• Facilitate community meetings to discuss health topics and solicit feedback.
• Prepare and present reports to the public health committee.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Engage in policy advocacy to improve public health systems.
• Serve as a spokesperson on public health issues as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in public health with program management experience

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
