Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and processes. Responsibilities

• Create and optimize mechanical design models using CAD software.
• Conduct mechanical testing and validation to ensure reliability.
• Work closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality control.
• Integrate innovative technologies into mechanical systems for improved efficiency.
• Review and approve engineering drawings submitted by junior engineers.
• Ensure all mechanical systems adhere to environmental regulations.
• Provide input for cost estimates and project bids.
• Document all engineering changes and maintain project records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with project management experience
