Job Description

We are on the hunt for an IT Support Technician to join our Stellenbosch team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing desktop support, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Ideal candidates will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for IT support queries from the staff.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues.
  • Ensure timely updates to IT documentation and manuals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity problems.
  • Support the deployment of IT projects and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve existing IT processes.
  • Monitor and report on IT issues and solutions.
  • Provide training sessions for employees on new systems.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance overall IT department productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Diploma in Information Technology
  • Relevant professional certifications are highly preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in technical support roles
