Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for assessing security systems, implementing security measures, and helping clients mitigate risks associated with cyber threats. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, and experience with compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Work with clients to develop tailored cybersecurity solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party security software and services.
• Conduct penetration testing to assess security weaknesses.
• Educate employees on best cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Technical Skills

• Vulnerability Assessment Tools
• Firewall Management

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience with cloud security and compliance: Hands-on experience securing cloud environments.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks: Understanding of frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL.
